Holly was launched into her musical career at age 11, by her mother who was her first piano teacher! She graduated with honors from Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford, with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Accompanying. Holly studied Classical piano technique and pedagogy after graduating, with Burton Hatheway in Fairfield, CT, for 3 years.
Holly now performs throughout the state of Connecticut as pianist and accompanist for a wide variety of singers and musicians, ranging from Broadway and Pop to Opera. She has been music director/conductor for many productions at the Warner Theatre and Landmark Community Theatre at the Thomaston Opera House, as well as, pianist and music director for several area high schools. Holly is performance pianist for Choirs in several school districts in Connecticut.
Holly was on the faculty of the Private Lessons Program at Chase Collegiate School in Waterbury for 28 years and now maintains a full-time teaching studio at her home in Torrington where she teaches in-person and online lessons. She is also Music Director/Keyboardist at Unity in the Foothills church in Torrington, CT, and is substitute pianist for several area churches.
